Ariana Grande Buys Swanky Cottage in Bird Streets For $9 Million!By Amanda Cooper
At the tender age of three, when most kids are busy playing, drawing, and attending pre-school, Ariana Grande took the path less traveled – she started to learn how to sing! And, most of us know where this childhood love of hers has gotten her today, don’t we?
But what’s interesting to note is that in addition to her singing talent, the 27-year-old has a keen eye for real estate too!
Grande recently dropped $8.9 million on a hillside L.A. property in an off-market deal. Pretty regular for a celeb, we know, but the catch here is the kind of property she’s bought. Join us as we give you a tour of her new dwelling.
Deets on Ariana Grande’s house purchase
Located in the Bird Streets neighborhood of Los Angeles’ Hollywood Hills, the property sits on 0.74 acres of land that’s currently divide into three contiguous parcels. Since the property was never publicly offered for sale, very few details are available about its origin.
However, we know that it has a 1,590 sq. ft. cottage dating back to 1946. Previous records disclose that an investor purchased this house in 2011 for $2.3 million. Before him, the original owner had held onto it for decades.
Although the structure is small, it has enough room for two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The house has a long gated driveway and provides optimal privacy. Since it’s hidden behind tall hedges and trees, it’s safe from prying eyes and trespassers. The best thing about the sizable living space is the large swimming pool and red brick patio, which offers some quiet time around nature.
Considering the high price Grande paid for this house, it’s natural to assume she has some awesome plans for it. If nothing else, we think, she would renovate it with her realtor fiancé, Dalton Gomez’s help!
A look at Grande’s real estate portfolio
In June 2020, Grande bought a $13.7 million Hollywood Hills house that’s laced with four bedrooms and five and a half bathrooms. It flaunts a formal dining room, a home office, a gourmet kitchen, and an infinity-edge swimming pool. Soon after, she purchased a 5,500 sq. ft. Montecito home for $6.75 million from Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi.
Built-in the late 1700s, the Montecito residence has two bedrooms and two full and two half bathrooms. Its other amenities include two kitchens, a gym space, a three-car garage, a basement, and a workshop.
Her current abode
According to December 2020 reports, Grande had shifted to her Hollywood Hills house with her fiancé Dalton Gomez. The two started dating in January 2020 and got pretty close during the Coronavirus quarantine.
In December 2020, Grande shared the news of getting engaged to Dalton Gomez, and since then, they’ve kept their love life very private.
